WOODLAWN BLUE HC-147

I am a huge fan of Benjamin Moore's Woodlawn Blue HC-147. It is one of those watery blues that can be used in so many settings. It would look great in a cottage setting or a more transitional space- it is such a great versatile colour. There is something so calming about those kind of watery greeney blues. Are they bluey green? Or are they greeny blue??? Either way you look at them I love those types of colours.

My own Master Bedroom's Accent wall is Woodlawn Blue, has been for years. I have wanted to change things up a bit in there recently and just do a mini makeover. At one point I thought that I may change the accent wall to Light Blue by Farrow and Ball but the more I look at what I want to do in there and I may just keep the Woodlawn Blue! So I thought I would share some pics of Woodlawn Blue with everyone. Enjoy:

RED AND WHITE-GET YOUR CANADIAN ON EH!!

Yesterday was Canada Day! I love this country. I truly do! I am always telling my boys- you live in the best country on the planet. It is a place where you can walk and not be afraid. It is a place where you can have a voice and not be afraid to speak. It is big, it is beautiful and I LOVE IT! I know that us Canadians aren't known for being overly patriotic. Well we are patriotic, we are just a little quieter about it is all.
It is a place where I feel safe. I Don't own a gun and I don't know anyone who does! If I get sick I don't have to decide whether I am going to feed my kids that week or go to the doctor or the emergency room. Is it perfect here? Absolutley not! But it's all we have got! And I think we have got it pretty good!
So in honour of Canada Day I wanted to get my Red and White on.......
