Hey Everyone! I came across this amazing Gray/Blue Kitchen on Houzz. Enjoy:
This amazing Kitchen is by Gast Architects. You should check out their other projects- Crazy amazing!
As far as the colour for this kitchen is concerned, I just couldn't peg it down and there just wasn't any info on it. There was a couple of people putting their own two cents worth in... but when it comes to that I just don't take any stock. If it doesn't come from the source I just don't pay attention. It is was too hard to tell from a pic what colour this may be. This type of colour is one of those colours that can be way to hard to peg down. The cabinets may not be as blue as they are showing in the pics. They may in fact be quite blue but it is too hard to tell. Are the cabinets a Blue that is grayed down or is it a Gray with a strong Blue undertone? What do you think?? This is such a great lesson when it comes to colour and what you see on your monitor. Unless you get the actual colour from the source then I would take it with a grain of salt. There are many out there that do NOT understand undertones at all or saturation of a colour. Many will just guess without really understanding colour. One of the best Designers/Architects that tries really hard to answer questions on Houzz is Garrison Hullinger. He is so great at answering questions. And you can tell by his answers that he not only is passionate about what he does, cares enough to answer questions but also gets quite annoyed when people answer questions and are way off. Can't really blame him. He truly tries to reach out to get the right info to those who ask. I really respect him for that..
Have a great day everyone.
